We utilize a 19.8 megawatt General Electric extraction/condensing steam turbine generator.  Steam is passed through the 15-stage turbine (right side of picture) turning a common rotor that is directly connected to the generator (left side of picture).  The spinning of this rotor at the generator then generates the electricity that is sent out to the local electrical grid for consumer consumption.  Steam at the back end of the turbine is exhausted through a condensor where it is cooled back to liquid form and recycled again in the boiler process.Seneca Sustainable Energy Turbine Generator
